What's in the Area
If you are looking for an area to suit all tastes - this is the ideal place. Not only are we a mile from the New Forest National Park but we are equally close to the beautiful south coast with views of the Isle of Wight and west towards Bournemouth and the Purbeck Hills.
The New Forest, with its wild ponies and deer, extensive walks and cycle tracks, also has many picturesque villages with tearooms and pubs offering an excellent selection of food.

MILFORD ON SEA -
which is 1 mile away and is a popular village with a village green and a good selection of shops and places to eat, also a sea front with car parks, cafe and shingle beach. From the promenade you can walk half a mile to Hordle Cliff with its beach huts set in the cliff and glorious views of the Isle of Wight including the Needles
Looking to the west is Hengistbury Head and the Purbeck Hills. Nearby Keyhaven is a popular place for sailing and also for birdwatching as there are extensive footpaths around the tidal salt marshes.The 2nd Village Food Week will take place on 9-15 April 2012 with over 100 events run by various local eateries, clubs and organisations. LYMINGTON - with its quay, marinas and good selection of shops, tearooms and restaurants, also has a very popular Saturday street market (there are plenty of car parks around the town). Coastal walks from the marinas have wonderful views of the Isle of Wight. There is a Wight Link car ferry service to Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight.(full details from us)
CHRISTCHURCH - is approximately 6 miles west and is a bustling market town with a beautiful harbour and Priory. Nearby on the far side of the harbour is Hengistbury Head with many lovely walks and a sandspit with famous beach huts.
BOURNEMOUTH - with its equally famous sandy beach lies about 15 miles to the west and has all the facilities of a large town including the Bournemouth International Centre, cinemas and lovely pleasure gardens.
